It’s extraordinary day – maybe.
I wake up, like always, 5am. Turn a music on, brush my teeth, washing my dirty face, and then shower. Do a room cleaning then leaving to market with aunty Nooring for buy some fresh ingredient – we gonna making a mushroom curry.
We finished a fresh market tour just 15 minutes after. Returned, having breakfast, then time to prepared. Main ingredient was ready since yesterday – Termitomyces aka Termite Mushroom. It’s very special mushroom living completely dependent on termites to survive. This is one and only reason this mushroom is rare and expensive.
Granny and aunty do clean it since yesterday after our trip back from Prachuap Khiri Khan then boiled it ready to making today’s special curry.We’ve got fresh shrimp, washed and prepared. We made our home-styled curry paste and I had grind it with mortar and pestle till it became a fine paste.
A curry finished around midday – we did a lunch break before we leaving home just for send aunty Kam home. She lived somewhat 50kms aways on west side of Bangkok. Traffic went bad to wonder why – finally so clear we’ve realise that today is FRIDAY! It’s took 4 hours in total living our life by the traffic.
Home, tired but I can’t stop. Shower and ready to my daily Pokemon GO routine. Once reach a park – it’s crowded. Later, I’ve understand all the reasons is – today is special event.
